Neglecting To Do God's Will

What has God told you to do in His Word and directly to your heart? Are you doing it? If not, why are you neglecting to do God's will? Those are huge questions for all of us. If we are neglecting to do God's will, we need to stop procrastinating and do it now, just like Joshua told the Israelites to do about dividing the land.(Joshua 18:3)

Life is busy these days. We have a lot of things to do. In reality, it has always been that way. Think about having to hunt for your food and grow the rest, while washing your clothes on a rock and cooking over and wood fire. People have always had to choose what to do and what not to do. There is nothing more important than doing God's will. If we don't have time for that, we are too busy with the wrong things. We must cease neglecting to do God's will, because the consequences of missing His will are terrible. It is the other stuff that we can neglect to do.

God can accomplish more in ten minutes than we can in ten hours or ten days. We can work on something a year and not get finished. When we do finish, what do we have, if it was not God's will? In short, there is time to do all that God wants us to do, if we are depending on Him and allowing Him to empower us. We simply have to set our priorities according to His Word and what he has shown us personally. Then, we will see His blessings, as we stop neglecting to do His will.

Tomorrow, I intend to read Joshua 21-23.
