The Jews Will See Jesus

When Jesus came the first time, the majority of the Jewish people rejected Him as the Messiah sent from God to forgive our sins. They have wandered in unbelief for almost 2,000 years. However, the time is coming when they will see the one whom they pierced, and they will put their trust in Him.(Zechariah 12:10) Yes, the Romans carried out the crucifixion, and we are all guilty of the sins that sent Jesus to the Cross, but it was the Jews who delivered Him up to be killed. One day they will mourn their decision, because they see Him as the Only-Begotten Son of God.

We all need to have such an attitude of gratitude for the sacrifice of Jesus for us. God's precious Son had to die for us. We were the ones who put Him to death, because He came to die for my sins and for your sins. We should mourn over our sins and rejoice over His amazing love for us. Jesus is the only way to salvation for the Jews and the Gentiles. Let's help the whole world see Him for us He is.

Tomorrow, I intend to read Zechariah 13-14 and Malachi 1.
