The Case Against God
It seems that more and more books are being written against God and Christianity. We hear more people in the media who are very antagonistic against Christians and the things of the Lord. I am sure that some people are swayed by these arguments. However, the truth is that there is no real case against God, only straw men they are knocking down.(Proverbs 21:30)
Some people tout that science has proved God doesn't exist. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Science has failed to prove where matter came from and how a bang created order and intelligent life, as we have it on earth.
Some people try to say that the Biblical principles don't work, but we need to follow secular psychology and philosophy. However, when we see the outcomes of what these things teach people, we know they are sorely lacking. Think about Hitler, Stalin, and Mao Tse Tung. Did they bring in truth when they opposed God and Christianity? No they killed millions of people in an effort to control people, but nothing ever changed for the good. Now, China has the fastest growing Christian population in the world.
There is no case against God that holds up. Any time we embrace God's truth, no one can drag it down by their efforts. When we support Him, He will be able to stand. The problem is that many are afraid of the worldly wisdom that says God doesn't exist. Let's stop being afraid. Let God and His truth speak for themselves. He can take care of Himself and us.
