Restoration
People restore houses and cars. Why not restore lives? That is what the Lord commands us to do in Galatians 6:1-2. Read it for yourself, and then, ask yourself a question: "When was the last time you were able to reach out to a fellow believer who had become involved in sin and see that person restored to a growing relationship with Christ?" As they say, "If you can't remember when it was, it has been too long."
It has been said of Christians that we are the only army who kills our wounded. I hope that is not a true statement, but I am afraid it has happened more than it should have happened because of legalism and pride. We must forget our comfort and show the love of Christ to those who need Him, so they can begin to walk with Him and grow in Him again. This is not just a good I idea. It is God's command. It is how Jesus loves us, so it is how we should love each other.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Proverbs 1-3.
