Judged By God

My memory verse for today is very appropriate for what I needed. The Lord called my attention to Job 23:10-12. Many people will have an opinion of me in my lifetime. Some will have a high opinion, some a low opinion. If I try to please all of the people around me, I am liable to miss pleasing the most important person. The main thing is to please the Lord. He will judge me fairly because He knows all of my motives and my actions. He knows everything in my heart and in my life. If I stay on His path and love His Word, I will come out fine in His judgment of me. Of course, I can't be perfect. All I can do is to do my best to follow His will and to honor Him. That is my aim.

Tomorrow, I intend to read Job 25-27 and Acts 12.
