Unjust Judges and Unfair Laws

Every day the news is filled with court cases. There is so much controversy about each one. What will the judge decide? What will be the effect on our country? We don't know. Also, there are so many laws and regulations that are being created, but are they fair? Will they cause things to get better or worse? Again, we don't know the outcome.

However, God is watching, and He knows what He will do. (Isaiah 10:1) What sorrow awaits the unjust judges and those who issue unfair laws. There may be injustice now, but God has the final say. He will bring great sorrow upon the judges who don't follow His justice and on the law makers who make unfair laws.

God is the God of justice. Everything God does is in accordance with His truth and righteousness. He requires each of us to follow His justice, or we will feel His wrath. Judges have a very serious responsibility, and they do it under God's authority. They make strive to be a judge, but they need to watch out for God's punishment if they are unjust. 

The same is true for law makers. We should not have politically based laws. Our law makers are under God's authority to do what is best for the people based on God's truth and righteousness, not their own preferences. When they make unfair laws, God will bring His heavy hand upon them to case them pain, as they have caused pain for the people.
