The Result of Judgment Day
God was very wise to tell mankind that there will be a day of judgment. He knows human nature so well. He knows that people do not do what you expect them to do. They do what you inspect to see what they are doing and have done. We know we have to get ready for tests, or we will fail them. This will be the biggest test of all.
Isaiah makes a great point about the day of judgment. (Isaiah 2:11) Human pride will be brought down, and human arrogance will be humbled. Only the Lord will be exalted on that day of judgment. That will be the ultimate result of us standing before the Lord on that day.
Human pride is the source of all sin. It leads us to commit every kind of sin. God is working to teach us this, and to get us to put away all pride and arrogance. However, Satan, the world and the flesh are all tempting us to live in pride and to commit sins against the Lord. Before eternity starts, this will cease.
When we stand before the Lord, there will be no way for us to exhibit pride of any kind in anything we have done in our lives. We will have to humble ourselves and admit that all we did was the result of how God made us and blessed us. Then, Only the Lord will be exalted by all people everywhere forever.
