Safe and Sound because of Trusting God

 God loves to bless us when we trust Him. We are saved from our sins and given eternal life in Jesus, when we turn from our sins and trust Him as our Lord and Savior. Trust is putting our faith in Him alone for our forgiveness. Then, every day after our salvation, if we walk in faith, trusting Him each step of the way. He continues to bless us. That is what happened to Ebed-melek, the Ethiopian, who went to the king to get Jeremiah out of the bottom of a muddy cistern. He trusted God, and went, even though he knew the king might be angry with him for asking such a thing. (Jeremiah 39:16,18) However, God blessed him by delivering Ebed-melek from death when the Babylonians took the city of Jerusalem. Let's stop and consider how God blesses those who trust Him.

God often delivers His children from problems and pain. He just protects us so we do not have that trouble in our lives. However, at other times, He delivers us through the bad experience. We still have the trouble, but He walks with us through it. Either way, we are blessed for trusting God. Then, when we get to Heaven, and we stand before the Lord in judgment, He will reward us for the level of our trust in Him over the span of our life. We are not sure all that will entail, but the Bible speaks of crowns that will be given to the faithful.Therefore, I feel confident in saying that God loves to bless us for our faith, and He is always looking to bless us based on our trust. Let's make sure we relate to God by faith, so that we trust Him and His Word in every way we can.
