No One Can Stop God from Saving
God is not limited in what He can do, except that He never does the wrong thing. No one compares to God. Satan and all of his demons are no match for God. There is no person or army on Earth that can defeat God. That is why we can always have confidence in living in victory, if we trust the Lord and do His will in His way. That is just what Jonathan, Saul's' son, knew. He knew that the Philistines with their huge army were nothing compared to God. When the army of Israel was melting away in fear, he took his armor bearer to engage the enemy and by themselves, they won a great victory. The army of Israel came back together to defeat the Philistines, because Jonathan trusted that God can use a small army or a large army to save His people. No one can stop God from doing what He has decided to do. (I Samuel 14:6) I wonder if we have the same faith that Jonathan had?
Not only do we face the Corona virus, but we have unprecedented economic challenges before us today, as we try to stop the spread of this disease. Many are fearful. Many people, even some believers, think it is more than we can overcome. Those people do not know the power of God to work through a few people to avert a disaster. In fact, God could even do it by Himself, without any help at all. However, He is looking for the faith of Jonathan. He is waiting to see if His people will depend on Him, not the politicians or the doctors and scientists. God wants to receive the credit for the victory, because He is the Only One worthy of praise here. He gave us all of the resources we have and the intellect to fight these forces, but we must acknowledge that. We must bow before Him and ask Him to use us, our leaders, and our resources to save many people. I hope you will join me in praying for this to happen and for God be exalted for being the Almighty God that He is.

Tomorrow, I intend to read I Samuel 15-17.
