Standing in the Gap before the Lord
Sometimes, God is just looking for one person to come to Him in prayer for their family, their church, or their country. If He finds one person praying earnestly, willing to repair the breech in the wall that sin has created, then God will forgive and heal. In the time of Ezekiel God was looking for one, and He could not find even one person among His people to plead for them. (Ezekiel 22:30) I wonder if He is looking for one today in America? If He is, will He find one?
Prayer is a powerful weapon to use to fight spiritual battles. We stand against Satan in prayer. We glorify God in prayer. We intercede for our families, our churches, and our countries, so that God will be merciful and heal us from our pains. If we fail to pray, God can't act in the way He wants to act toward us. He responds to the prayer of faith from a righteous person. When He sees that one person, God can and will do amazing things. I pray that we will determine to be that one person to stand in the gap before the Lord before it is too late. Let's decide to go to Him daily for every need, and let's watch to see Him work.
