Pouring Out Our Complaints to God

I hear a lot of complaints, and I read a lot of complaints on places like Facebook. Sometimes, they are complaints about things that I can change. However, many times these complaints are just given to let off steam, or they are gossip about another person. I don't need to hear most of them, because I can't help solve the problem they address. However, David knew just what to do with his complaints, and his way is always appropriate, if we really need to complain to someone. (Psalm 142:1,2) I hope we will all follow David's example and stop our useless complaining.

We should all cry aloud to God about things that disturb us. He is the One who has the authority and power to change our circumstances. He can and will show us what to do.  When we pour them out to the Lord, we should ask Him for mercy. When we have a trouble or a complaint, we need for God to intervene and grant a better outcome than we think is possible. He can do that with His mercy. Also, we need to pour out our complaint before God, because He can take it. He is not going to get His feelings hurt or get mad at us. He loves us, and He wants our lives to go well. Even when He allows us to have trials and troubles, He is there to help us, if we will cry out to Him. However, many times we just complain to others, but we do not complain to the Lord who allowed the trouble. Also, it helps us to reveal out trouble to Him. I know that He knows all about it before it happens, but we do well to explain how it makes us feel, so we can fully receive His solution and be thankful for it. I hope we will all stop most of our complaining to other people, and we will begin complaining to the Lord who can handle any complaint and problem very easily. Remember, He is Lord over all.
