God Questions Job
Job had been wanting to question God about his suffering, but instead God started off by questioning Job. God turned the tables on him to prove a point. Job truly did not know enough to question God. In fact, he did not know some of the most elementary facts that God had put into place to rule His creation, like why an eagle builds his nest on high. (Job 39:27-29) Job was totally caught off guard, and we would be, too. That is why we need to learn this lesson.
Whenever we would question God about something, we should stop and realize that we do not have enough knowledge to question Him about anything. We are totally inadequate intellectually to reason with God. Also, since all wisdom comes from Him, we will never have more than a fraction of His complete wisdom and understanding of all things. Therefore, we should humbly submit to His judgment, grace, and mercy, knowing that all of His actions are based on all of the facts, while our judgment is limited to the small amount of facts we know. In other words, when we try to question God, we are completely clueless as to all He knows and all He has taken into consideration before doing His will in our lives.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Job 40-42.
