The Saved in Heaven
One day all of us who have ever been saved from our sins by the grace of God and through our faith in the Lamb, Jesus Christ, will assemble before the throne of God in heaven. There will be a huge multitude of us from every people group, tribe, and language on earth. (Revelation 7:9,10) I believe it will be one of the most incredible experiences anyone could ever have. I pray that you are prepared to be a part of that throng.
As we assemble before the throne of God, the Lamb will be there at the right hand of the Father. We will all be clothed in white robes because we have had our sins washed clean by the blood of the Lamb. We will have palm branches in our hands to wave at Jesus, just like the disciples at the Triumphal Entry parade when He came riding on a donkey, and He was proclaimed the Messiah for all the people to hear. At the same time, we will be crying out our confession, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne and to the Lamb." Only Jesus can save from sin, because He is the Lord who took on human flesh to die as a sacrifice for all sin. Then, that body was raised from the dead to forever proclaim His victory over sin and death.
I have been in a lot of crowds, and I have experienced many fantastic worship services, but they all pale in comparison to this one. I pray I will see you there.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Revelation 8-10.
