God Never Fails to Do the Right Thing
People are always second guessing God. How smart is that? If He is the All-knowing, All-loving, All-wise, All-powerful God, how can He do the wrong thing? If He is not all of those things, then, He is not really God. Therefore, we need to learn the lesson that Balaam knew, even though he was a pagan sorcerer.(Numbers 23:19) It is not difficult, but it is very important.
God does not lie. When we read something in the Bible, or when He speaks to us directly, we can always trust His words. We must not think God is like a human being. He is Truth. He can't lie. He is Love, so He would not want to lie to us. God does not need to repent from doing the wrong thing. The only time He changes His mind is when people decide to change their minds and actions. He never needs to second guess Himself. He knows all and has all wisdom. Please, don't try to tell God He sinned, so He needs to repent and do things differently. That is never the case.
What God has said will happen, always happens. His promises are true. He guarantees us that He will carry out His promises, and no one can stop Him, because He has all power. If God declared something, He will never go back on His words. He will make it good. He always does the right thing. That is why I say that we must stop trying to tell Him He has messed up. We need to submit to Him and trust Him, since He is perfect. We need to get that settled in our hearts once and for all.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Numbers 25-28
