His Grand Entrance
Some people plan their entrance into a room, so that others will notice them. One day Jesus will have a grand entrance for His Second Coming to the earth and setting up His throne in Jerusalem.(Zechariah 14:4)
Hundreds of years before Jesus rose from the dead and ascended back to heaven from the Mount of Olives, the Lord showed Zechariah just what would happen to fulfill what the angels told the disciples when Jesus ascended.(Acts 1:11) Get ready. The King is Coming!
The Risen Lord Jesus will descend to the Mount of Olives, and when His foot touches the ground the mountain will split in two, forming a huge valley. Can you imagine the earthquake and the fear in the hearts of the people? They will flee out of Jerusalem, but then, they will see that it is Jesus. Read Zechariah 14. It is amazing what God showed the prophet. It will all come true just as He said.
Are you ready to stand before King Jesus? He came the first time as a humble servant to die for our sins. He will return the second time as the King to reign for 1,000 years. Every person will have to stand before King Jesus to give an account of his or her life. Believe me, you don't want to stand before the King unprepared, unrepentant, and unforgiven. The only way is to stand before Him is as a child of God, redeemed by His blood, and prepared for eternity because you know Him, and He knows you.
