A Job Well Done
The Tabernacle was completed and presented to Moses for his approval. When he looked it over, he saw that it was exactly what the Lord had commanded them to create. He blessed the people for their diligence.(Exodus 39:43) I pray the same can be said for us today and every day of our lives.
What does it take to do a job well? We have to follow the instructions. We have to obey the one in charge. Jesus is Lord, so for us to do our lives well, we have to obey His instructions. Of course, much of what we need to do is in His Word. However, we also need to listen to Him each day, so that we also obey those special things He has just for us to do. If we do it His way and at His time, He will bless us for our obedience. Jesus loves obedience. After all, what we want to do is far inferior to His plans because of our limited vision and abilities. It is only when we listen to Him and obey His will that we can hope to accomplish anything worthwhile and significant in life.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Exodus 40 and Leviticus 1-2.
