"Lord, I Believe; Help My Unbelief."
We can all learn a great lesson from the father of the demon possessed son, whom Christ healed. Jesus told the father that all things were possible if he trusted Him.(Mark 9:23,24) Then, in humility and sincerity the father cried out to Jesus. He confessed his faith in Jesus, and he asked Jesus to help him with any unbelief he had. He did not want to miss anything that God wanted him to receive by faith.
That should be the confession we all give to the Lord regularly. Yes, we trust Christ, as Lord and Savior of our lives. However, that does not mean that we are fully trusting Him in every area of our lives. For God to work in our lives that part of our life must be surrendered to Him in faith. We must trust what He can do in us for that particular need. What I am saying is this: general faith is good, but it is not enough. We need specific faith for different needs. Therefore, we need to seek God's direction and His help for trusting Him more and more in every area of life. Then, all things are possible.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Mark 10-12.
