Where Is Truth?

When I read Jeremiah 7:28 this morning my heart sunk. I knew the Lord was saying the same thing to my country, the United States of America. Today, truth has perished from our nation. We are not listening to the voice of the Lord. In fact, there is a movement to remove the God of the Bible from our society. That is why there is no direction. People have abandoned truth. Many or most people do not even believe there is truth or that people can know the truth. Everything, even truth, is relative. You can make up whatever truth you want to believe. This is a recipe for disaster.

We will not know the truth until we come back to the Lord. Jesus is the Truth. The Bible is the Word of God, and it is the truth. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth who leads us into all truth. However, if we reject the Lord, we are rejecting truth. All truth is God's truth. We need to submit to Him, or our country will continue to flounder in falsehood.
