Fruitful, Steadfast, and Honest
For the past several months I have been teaching on the Mind of Christ on Sunday evenings. It is a great study that every Christian needs to consider strongly. The workbook was written by Dr. T W Hunt. I highly recommend it to each of you. I am convinced that every Christian has the Mind of Christ, but most are not developing it and using it, so their lives are a mess, even though they have come to know Christ as Lord and Savior.
Just take the theme of the study for tomorrow night as an example. What if every Christian was fruitful, steadfast, and honest? How different the world would be, if that was the case. However, that is why God has given us the Mind of Christ. If we come to think like Jesus, we will be fruitful, steadfast, and honest. We will see things like He does, and we will act like Him, too.
How many people have gone to Hell because of unfruitful Christians? What has been the effect of Christians who give up? How many times have people been turned off by hypocritical believers, who are not honest? I hope you see how important this is in reality. We need to develop the Mind of Christ and live by it, once we become believers.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Jeremiah 24-26 and Titus 2.
