The Law of the Lord is Perfect
Many people are missing the meaning of life and how to have the abundant life that Jesus spoke about. The answers come in God's Word. The Law of the Lord is perfect. (Psalm 19:7-9) In fact, God has inspired His Word so that we have everything we need to have eternal life which begins here on earth when we trust Christ and extends forever with Him in heaven. Please, consider what the Lord inspired David to tell us.
Do you want your soul to be converted or changed to what God intended from the beginning? Would you like to be wise and to be able to show others God's wisdom? Would like a heart that rejoices in the Lord all of the time? Do you want your eyes to be enlightened, so that you can see clearly the things of the Lord? David showed us that all of these things come from reading, knowing, and obeying the Word of God. The Bible contains the Law of God which is perfect. It contains the testimony of the Lord which is sure and reliable. The Bible has the statutes of the Lord recorded for all of us to observe. The Bible has the commandments of the Lord. If we fear the Lord, we will read His Word and wisdom will be given to us. We can learn His judgments so we can see what is true and altogether righteous.
Learning the Word and obeying it brings great changes to our mind, will, and emotions. We obtain God's wisdom, as He shows us His will and His ways. We rejoice in the grace, mercy, and truth of the Lord, as well as His hope. We have light to see how to live in this dark world. What a treasure we have in the Bible. It is God's Word, which He uses to bring us to know Him and to have the abundant life.
