Loud Worship
There are a lot of people who prefer to worship the Lord very quietly. They sing softly, and they sit very still in the process. I think it was a style of worship years ago, but some people think it is the only right way to worship the Lord. I am afraid they are very wrong, and this is keeping them from entering truly anointed worship before the Lord.
When David found out how to carry the Ark of the Lord the right way, he brought it up to the place of worship in Jerusalem. (II Samuel 6:15) David and all the people brought up the Ark of the Lord with shouts of joy and the blowing of rams' horns. I am sure that was a wonderful loud worship time that was pleasing to the Lord.
One of the greatest worship experiences is when all God's people get together to worship Him, and they sing loudly, even with shouts of joy, like the people of Israel did that day. Let's say there were 1,000 people lining the path of the Ark, shouting with joy to the Lord. What a fantastic time of worship. We should do the same every Sunday!
Also, I would imagine the rams' horns blowing was a very loud sound, too. This shows us that we should not be hung up on certain instruments, unless we want to go out and find some rams' horns to blow. We know that would be Biblical, but I have not found a piano or an organ in the Bible, except for the mention of "stringed instruments." Please, understand that worship changes over time, and all of it is good if it comes from our hearts and we do it in great joy before our Lord.

Tomorrow, I intend to read II Samuel 7-9.
