God will Sustain You

 What kind of burden are you bearing now? It might be more than one. We all have burdens of various kinds. Some are very heavy. However, God never intends for His children to bear their burdens alone. David had experienced the goodness of God to help him with his burdens. (Psalm 55:22) He knew he could cast his burden upon the Lord, and He would sustain him. He knew God well enough to know that He would never allow the righteous to be shaken. I pray we have all found this to be true.

There are many benefits of being a follower of Christ. God truly loves His children and cares for us well,  even through times of trials. He will help us in every way, but we have to ask Him to help. God will not force Himself on us. If we hold on to our burden, we will suffer from it. If we cast our burden on the Lord, He will enable us to have grace and strength to bear it, or He will take it away. Either way, we come out on top. When we entrust our burdens and needs on Him, we will not be shaken. What a benefit of following Jesus!
