God's Law Inside Everyone
The Jews were privileged to have God's Law written down for them to learn and obey. The problem was that they did not obey it, even then. Contrast that reality with the fact that many people who never had God's Law for them to learn, did it anyway. They knew what was right and wrong, good and bad without having God's Law. The apostle Paul told us that shows us something very important. (Romans 2:14,15) When those who never had God's Law do it, they confirm its truth by their obedience. They show that it is not something imposed on us from without, but it is woven into the very fabric of our creation. This great truth is even more important today.
There are many people who reject the Bible, but they still do many of the things the Bible says, because it seems right to them. Most people are against murder and are in favor of punishing those who commit murder. Most people realize that stealing is wrong and bad for society. Of course, I could go on and on. How could this happen? It shows that we did not evolve from some chemicals in the distant past. On the other hand, it proves that we were created by an all-powerful, all-wise God who wrote these things on our hearts to lead us in the right way, and to lead us toward Him. We can still reject God, if we choose to do so, but we can't say there is no evidence for God. If we weren't made in His image, there is no good explanation for our emotions such as love, and our thoughts of morality. God truly is loving and good. He gives every person the revelation of these things, so that we are without excuse if we reject putting our trust in Him.
