Don't Let Anyone Silence You

 The people of this world will do everything they can to intimidate and silence Christians to keep us from sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. They are against God. They want to be in control, and they want to live however they would like. So even though there is freedom of speech and freedom of religion here in the U.S. and many places in the world, the unbelievers will do whatever they can to silence us. We must not let this happen. Just like the Lord told Paul in Corinth, we must keep it up, not letting anyone intimidate or silence us. (Acts 18:9,10) God will be with us and watch over us, as we do His will. The reason for this need is that there are many people who need to come to the Lord.

Satan is good at making us afraid to share Jesus. He uses our flesh and the pressures of the world forces to intimidate us. Just think of all of the rules that have been passed in the last few years against mentioning religion at work or in public places. If we stop sharing the Lord and we allow ourselves to be silenced, we will be failing to obey God, and we will not receive His protection and provision. However, if we do share the Lord with our communities, we will be amazed at how many people will come to the Lord. Remember, no farmer ever receives a harvest without first planting the seeds. However, when the seeds are planted in the soil, God gives the increase. We are the farmers, and the gospel is the seed to be sown in each heart. The more we spread the seed, the more harvest we will see by God's power. Please, let's not let anyone silence us.
