Return, You Faithless Children
There are many people in America who used to be faithful in church, and they were trusting the Lord in their daily lives. However, they have either drifted away from the Lord Jesus, or something happened that caused them to turn away. In either situation it is so very important for you to return to the Lord. I believe what Jeremiah said to the people of his day will be an encouragement to anyone who is far from the Lord today. (Jeremiah 3:22) Let's all take this to heart.
The devil has convinced many people that there is no hope for them. He has told them that God would not receive them back. That is a lie of Satan, the father of lies. The truth is that the Lord is waiting for those far from Him to return like the father of the prodigal son. If you will return to the Lord, He will heal your unfaithfulness. None of us can be faithful in our own power, but God is gracious. He will fill us with His Spirit, if we will return, and we will have the faith and power to follow the Lord Jesus. You need to cry out to the Lord right now, "Here I am, coming to You for you are the Lord our God." When you take that one step, you will be back to the Lord, even if you have taken a thousand steps away from Him. Please, return to Him today.

Tomorrow, I intend to read Jeremiah 5-7.
