May All the Peoples Know

God created Adam and Eve because He is love, and He desired to express His love in relationship with every person born into this world. Of course, sin entered this world, and that prevented people from having that relationship with the holy God. Therefore, God provided the animal sacrifices of the Old Covenant to cover the sins with the blood of the sacrifices, so He could have the relationships restored. All along, it has been God's heart and His goal to see all peoples of the earth know that the Lord is God, and there is no other. (I Kings 8:60) This goal came out of His love for every single person.

Now we know that Jesus is Lord. He is God who came down to earth, born of a virgin to be the prefect God/Man. In that way He could die and rise again for the sins of all the peoples of the earth. Then, when anyone confessed Him as Lord, turning from their sins, and surrendering in faith to Him as Lord of their life, they would enter that close relationship with God that He has desired from the beginning. The goal of the Lord is still the same. He wants all of the peoples of the earth to hear that Good News and trust the Lord Jesus. For those of us who know Jesus, that is our prayer and our mission in life. I pray that we will all have the heart of God and take up accomplishing the goal of God, while exhibiting the pure love of God for all people.
