Administer Justice Every Morning
We hear a lot about justice today, all types of justice. People feel like they are being unfairly treated by the government or that the government is allowing people and groups to take advantage of others. That is a serious problem. It is one that causes God's anger to burn hot. We can see that in what He told Jeremiah to communicate to the kings of Judah. (Jeremiah 21:12) We need to know what makes God angry, so we can stay away from it and help our government administer justice for all.
God hates for people to be robbed of their pay, when they have earned wages. He is angry with those who use their power to oppress others. He is greatly offended by racism that leads people to treat certain groups in an unfair way. Therefore, His anger rages against any government or group of people who do not carry out righteous justice that is in line with the perfect precepts of His Word. I would urge all of us to make this a matter of prayer and of action. As God's children and Christ's followers, we must be the ones to stand up for true justice and stand against those things that make God so angry. Then, we have the right testimony before this world.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Jeremiah 23-25.
