Job's Confident Prophecy
This is an amazing passage of Scripture. Over 2,000 years before Christ was born into this world, a man who lived before the Bible was inspired by God to be written down, Job knew that he had a Redeemer. He was confident that his Redeemer would stand on the earth. He also knew that after his fleshly body was destroyed, he would see God in his new body.(Job 19:25,26) That is simply incredible, but it is very true.
This is a fantastic example of Romans 1:19-20. God reveals Himself to every person who comes into this world. When we listen to Him, He reveals more and more, so that we can trust Him more and more. Job had a confident faith in God, because he had a soft heart that received the revelation of God and obeyed all that he knew to do. The same can be true for any of us. There is a Redeemer, Jesus Christ, who wants to be your Redeemer, and He desires for you to spend eternity in heaven with an eternal body in the presence of God. It is for all who will listen to Him and trust in Him as Lord.
