The Way of Life and the Way of Death
Everyone has a life or death decision to make. That is how God operates. He gave the people of Judah a choice for physical life or death.(Jeremiah 21:8) He gives us a choice for spiritual life and death. No one can avoid making this choice.
Life is all about the choices we make. We make good choices and bad choices. All choices have consequences. We need to learn that, so that we decide wisely. Ultimately, we choose the way of life or the way of death. When we decide to trust the Lord Jesus Christ, we are choosing life. When we reject Christ, we are choosing death. Of course, the way to life is narrow like Jesus said, so few people find it. However, it is an option for all people. The way to death is broad, and many people go that way, because it is the way of this world. It is the popular choice, since people do not want to be different from others.
I pray that you have chosen the way of life. If not, choose Christ today. Turn from the wrong way, the way of death, and put your trust in the Lord to begin your journey on the way of life. You will never regret your choice.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Jeremiah 23-25.
