He has Torn, but He will Heal Us.
God is ready to forgive and to heal anyone who will return to Him.(Hosea 6:1) Please, do not allow Satan to paralyze you with guilt and tell you to give up, because there is no hope. There is always hope with the Lord, but He is waiting to see if you will love Him. When we love Him we keep His commandments.
Israel and Judah sinned badly by following idols. They turned to ritual, instead of a true relationship with God. We do the same things today. We cease worshiping God, and we worship idols. After being out of church for a week or two, we feel too guilty to go back. The devil makes us think that people will look down on us for being gone a while. That is his way of enslaving us.
Remember, God is waiting for you to return to Him. He may have punished you severely for your sin, but it was done in love to cause you to stop sinning and return to Him. He wants to bind up your wounds. He wants to bring healing. It is up to you. Don't wait. Run to the loving arms of the Lord and stay close to Him.
