Diminished By God

Most people want God to bless them and to build them up. God promised to do just the opposite to Israel, because they defiled the sanctuary.(Ezekiel 5:11) In other words, they failed to worship Him, and in fact, they worshiped the wrong things, instead.

How is your worship going? Is God number 1 in your life? Do you take time to show Him that each day by what you do and say? Do you make it a priority to join with other believers to worship Him each week? Worship is vital. If we don't worship God, we are worshiping idols. There is no middle ground. Our lives place worth in something or someone, and we see that by how we spend our time and our money.

I pray that each of us will put God first and make personal worship a daily priority and corporate worship a weekly priority so God can bless us, instead of diminishing us.
