No Light
This morning as I read Isaiah 8:20 the Lord showed me something that we all need to remember at a time when people are trying to find the right way to go. If someone rejects God's Word, and they do not want to consider the law of God and His testimonies in His Word, it is because there is no light in them. They are in darkness, so they can't see the truth.
No light allows no sight. When there is no light, there is no sense of direction. In the darkness we can't discern our surroundings, so we are likely to have accidents. We all need light to find the way.
God's Word is truth.(John 17:17) All truth is God's truth. Therefore, we all need to run to the Word of God to find the way of truth. Without it, we have no light. We must not follow people who reject God's Word, because they have no light. We will only be following them into the darkness.
