Three Little Words
There are three words that mean so much. They reveal the condition of our heart. They begin a process of healing. These words show other people that we are not prideful or stubborn.
I believe if more couples would use these words, we would have better marriages. They would end many of the arguments and prevent bitterness from developing. These simple words could restore intimacy to some marriages.
So many children have been hurt by their parents' rash statements and actions. If they could hear these words, it would restore their faith in their parents and build trust. I think the children would respect their parents more, if they heard these three words more often.
I could go on and on, but I will tell you these important words. Some of you knew them before reading this. Others guessed them while you were reading. However, the real question is, "When was the last time you said them?" The three words are, "I was wrong." Just think of the good that comes from a humble and sincere use of these three words. Let's make it a practice to speak them when needed and to really mean them. Then, let's see what happens.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Luke 18-21.
