God is So Good

I am always amazed at the goodness of God and His ability to bring something good out of a bad situation. I think that He tries to teach us to trust Him more through the difficulties we face. He wants us to trust His goodness and to follow His way. Years ago I heard a song by Babbie Mason that used a quote by Charles Spurgeon. The essence of the song was that when we could not see what God was trying to do, we could trust His heart. The reason for that is that we know that He loves us, and He would never be unkind. I want to be able to trust in the goodness of God even more and to help other people do the same thing.

Tomorrow, I intend to read Psalms 43-45 and Acts 27:27-44.
