Our God is the God of Order - Numbers 1-2 and Mark 3:1-19
Many people are disorganized. Many others do not have a plan for their lives. This is not how God operates. It is evident from reading these two passages that God loves order. When God ordered Israel to be numbered, He was showing the need to have a plan. Each tribe had a leader, and the leaders were to be close to Moses. That is an organization. Each tribe had a place to camp. It was important for them to have order. It is important for us to have order in our lives and in our churches. We will not accomplish God´s will without some order, because Satan will seek to confuse us and hinder us. He will distract us, if we do not have leaders who keep us on track. Then, we read about Jesus. He had a huge job to do. He did the greatest part Himself by dying on the Cross and rising again. However, there was much left to do. He called the apostles to be with Him and to go out to tell others about Him. This was Jesus´ organization or order, and we would do well to use it. We should make disciples for Jesus, spend time with them to disciple them, and then, send them out. This is the Biblical order for us to do His will. How is the order in your life? Is Satan stealing your time away and confusing you, because of a lack of order or leadership? We must not let that happen. Ask the Lord to show you His order for your life.
