Demon Possession
There are angels and demons all around us all of the time. God created myriads of angels before He created the universe. Lucifer was one of the highest angels. He led the worship around the throne of God. He rebelled against God because He wanted to be worshiped like God. That is when sin entered the universe. One third of the angels sided with Lucifer, who became Satan and became demons. They were all kicked out of heaven.
Now, they have the ability to roam around the universe and try to bring death and destruction to people. Satan and his demons are crafty, and they try to lead people from God, so they can control them and even possess their bodies. That is what happened to Judas. (Luke 22:3) "Satan entered Judas, the one called Iscariot, who belonged to the number of the twelve." This can still happen to people today.
God wants every person who is born into this world to believe in Him and trust Jesus as Lord and Savior. Everyone has that choice. If a person rejects God's drawing and goes their on way, he is susceptible to being influenced by Satan and his demons. He can even be possessed by a demon or demons. Demon possession leads to all kinds of torment in their mind and heart.
I believe there are many people all around us today, who are suffering from some type of demon oppression or possession. The only remedy is the power of God. Satan and His demons are too strong for any person to defeat. We, as believers, need to pray for those we know who are oppressed and ask God to use us to help deliver them from Satan's grasp. God can use any believer who is submitted to Him to do this for another person, just like Jesus and others saw demons cast out.
