God's Presence
The Presence of God in our lives makes our lives worthwhile and meaningful. Any person without God's Presence is merely existing, not living. Moses knew this, so He told God that there was no reason for them to go to the Promised Land, as wonderful as it was, if God was not going to go with them.(Exodus 33:14,15) Gratefully, God agreed to go with them, because of the fervent intercession of Moses for the stiff-necked people.
How is your life? Do you know the reality of God's Presence, because you have a personal relationship with Him through trusting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? If not, you have not experienced life as God designed it to be, only existence. Listen as the Spirit speaks to your heart and draws you to trust Christ as Lord and allow the Presence of God to enter your life. God is real. His love for you is real. His Presence for you is real. Jesus proved His love by going to the Cross to die for all of us. Now, why would we fail to surrender to Him as Lord of all?
If you have His Presence in your life, are you walking with Him? Remember, He does not have to follow you around. You have to follow Him and stay close to Him by staying filled with His Spirit each minute of every day. He means for us to live in His Presence 24/7, not just on Sundays when we get together for worship. Life is so much better when we are walking with Him, and He is our strong right hand to lead us and to defeat our enemies.
