Kamp Kidzart

This week our church is privileged to have the youth choir from First Baptist Church in Odessa, Texas. They are on a mission trip/choir tour. They have done a fantastic job putting on a music and arts camp for the children in our community, and they have brought all of the workers and paid all of the expenses to be a blessing to us. Today, we had 93 children come and benefit from their love and instruction. Please, enouarge any children you know to come tomorrow from 9 AM until 12:30 PM. We appreciate their desire to serve the Lord with all of their gifts and talents. What a blessing!

Jeff and Laurie Wash are the leaders of the group. Jeff is the Associate Minister of Music at FBC, and he was our minister of music while I was pastor at Bayshore Baptist in LaPorte, Texas. Jeff and Laurie love the Lord, and they are very gifted and talented. It is so good to see them, and to have the privilege to host their group. God gives us special friends, forever friends, and the Wash's are some of those people.

Please, come and join us for the Family night tomorrow at 7 PM in the worship center. We will not only see what the children have learned, but THERE WILL BE A FULL CONCERT BY THE YOUTH CHOIR. They are a blessing, so invite your friends and come tomorrow evening.

Tomorrow, I intend to read Psalms 111-113.
