There is No God like Our God

 There are many religions in this world. They are man-made religions, worshiping gods, people, nature, or the devil. They are all founded on false beliefs. Their followers can't have a relationship with the One True God, like we have as Christians.  He is the One and Only Living God of heaven and earth.

Solomon knew the Lord, and once he finished his assigned task of building God's temple, he proclaimed the greatness of God to all the people. (I Kings 8:23) Solomon said, "Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like You in heaven above or on earth beneath, keeping the covenant and showing faithfulness to Your servants who walk before You with all their heart." He is the same God we serve today.

God is faithful. He keeps His covenants. He fulfills His promises. He does what He has says He will do for us, as we walk before Him in faith with all our heart. On this Easter Sunday it is good to remember this truth. God promised a Savior beginning in Genesis 3:15. He showed us that the Savior would die for our sins. (Isaiah 53)

He even promised to raise Jesus from the dead. (Psalm 16:7-11) Today, we celebrate God's faithfulness in keeping His covenant, sending His Son Jesus to die for our sins and rise from the grave to prove He was the Messiah for all people. I pray that we will all worship God today like we should, knowing there is no God like our God.
