God's Blessings to Believers
God is so good to everyone. He gives us all life, and He is right there to show Himself to us, so we can know Him and have eternal life by grace through faith. What more could a person ask for. However, it gets much better when we do come to know the Lord as our personal Lord and Savior. As the psalmist told us, God has all kinds of blessings for those who know and trust Him. When we hold on to Him by faith, He is always with us to give us what we need at any moment. (Psalm 91:14-16) Let's see some of the blessings the psalmist was inspired to record for us, as believers.
God is there for His children to get us out of any trouble. It may not be the way we would get ourselves out of trouble, but it is the best way, because God knows and does what is best for us. He always gives us the best care, too. If He doesn't heal us physically, He takes us to heaven with Him, and we enjoy eternity with health and complete access to the Lord. That is the best care possible. Remember, Paul told us "to live is Christ and to die is gain." (Philippians 1:21) Believers can call on God and He will answer. He answers with yes, no, or wait. His answer is always what we need, whether we know it or not. He is always by our side in bad times. He is ready to lift us up or even to carry us through whatever happens to us. He will rescue us, either here or in heaven, and He will throw us a huge party, especially when we see Him. He gives all believers a long life. It could mean many years on earth, but in reality, He gives us the longest life, eternal life. Those who know Christ never die, we just transfer to the presence of the Lord, since our salvation is eternal and complete. How's that for a benefit package? Those things belongs to all who come to the Lord to sincerely know Him and trust Him as Lord and Savior.
