Jesus = God
When Jesus came to earth, He got into all kinds of trouble. He is still the center of controversy to this day. It was really not that He was doing anything to cause the problems. He was just being Himself and telling the truth. The problems came because people did not like what He was doing and saying. They thought they knew the truth, but they were mistaken. Jesus came to show them and us the truth, but so many have no interest in learning from Him. They think they know better. However, there is a huge problem with disagreeing with Jesus. If He is who He claimed to be, then He is God. (John 5:18) Do you really want to go against what God said and did? It's up to you.
Jesus healed people on the Sabbath day. They said He was breaking the Sabbath because that was doing work on the day of rest. However, it was good to heal people, and it was not hard for Jesus at all. It made them mad, though. He called God His own Father, too. That really angered the Jewish leaders, and it still makes people angry today. The Jews knew that meant He was equal to God. They were furious with Jesus for making that claim. He was simply telling who He was, who is Father was, and trying to get them to see reality. They would not listen.
There are only 3 options for who Jesus is. He is either the Lord, a liar or a lunatic. That is what C. S. Lewis said many years ago. Since He claimed to be God, if He wasn't, He is either lying, or He is crazy. He can't be a prophet, if He said something untrue. He can't be a good teacher either, if that is the case. However, there is much evidence that He is equal to God. Yes, He is the Lord. No one could do what He did or say what He said, without being God and being Lord of all. Please, stop fighting Him. Read what the Bible says about Him. Look at the solid evidence. Then, trust Him as Lord of your life.
