The Days Formed for Me
Do you realize that God formed all of the days of your life just for you? He did. Our lives are not accidents. From the moment of conception God saw us, and He knew everything about us. In fact, He knew us even before that. Therefore, He formed our days based on who we were created to be and what He knew about us. (Psalm 139:16) That shows the great care and concern God has for each of us. Let's notice what else He inspired David to tell us about this.
Every unformed mass of tissue is a baby, a living soul. God recognizes us when we are unformed. Even from that time He has all of our days written in His book. He did that before we lived the first day. Also, that means He knows when our lives will end from before we were born. That knowledge plus His knowledge of us allowed Him to form the days for us from the beginning. Our days are perfect for us. There are not too many or too few to accomplish His will for us. They are customized for us, and we will be judged on how we live each day He formed for us. Let's not be lazy and neglect to fully use each day according to His directions for us. Let's depend on the one who knew us and designed our days for us to lead us and make us fruitful for His kingdom. Let's always be thankful for each new day, and when our days come to an end, we will be able to go to be with the Lord with no regrets.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Psalms 140-142.
