Having Regard for Our Maker
We live in a day and time when many people have no regard for their Maker. In fact, it seems like most people believe in some form of evolution, so they think God is not really involved in this world or in our lives. therefore, they live every day with no regard for Him. That is a very terrible way to live. It is missing the point of life. We are here to glorify God in all we do. Isaiah foretold a time when people will have regard for their Maker. In fact, they will see the Holy One of Israel with their eyes. (Isaiah 17:7) We need to prepare ourselves to see Jesus, because it could be very soon.
One day, Jesus will take all of the believers to heaven for 7 years with Him, while the earth is in the turmoil called the Tribulation. Then, we as believers, will return to earth with Him to reign with Him for 1,000 years. I believe that is what Isaiah was predicting. Jesus will reign from Jerusalem, and people will come from all over the earth to see Him. That time is called the Millenium. Even then, some will not believe in Jesus and trust Him as Lord of their lives. What a shame, when people do not regard their Maker and the Holy One of Israel, Jesus, who died and rose again for them. I pray that we all will regard our Maker and be ready to see Jesus.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Isaiah 20-22.
