God of Power, Wisdom, and Understanding
As humans, we lack power. Yes, we have power to do certain things, but our power is very limited. The same is true for wisdom. We lack wisdom, and there is no way to create it, we must get it from God. We have some understanding of facts and figures, but we are lacking in understanding, too. Mostly, we have theories about how things work, but not full understanding. God is the Only One with unlimited power, wisdom, and understanding. (Jeremiah 51:15) We can see that in His creation all around us.
Just consider the power it took to make the earth. It is beyond our comprehension. The earth is such a huge ball, but it is hanging in an huge, expanding universe. What power it took to create it and cause it to stay in orbit exactly as it should all of the time. What wisdom it took to establish it, as well. It is incredible how all things work together. When we stop to observe that, we are overwhelmed by His wisdom. Finally, the heavens are so magnificent. They all work together as well. It could only have been done by God who has all understanding of all things. Therefore, as we face our limitations, we should always remember, we can turn to the Maker of all things for Him to supply our need, as we trust Him, the Lord of all.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Jeremiah 52 and Lamentations 1-3.
