Stumped? God Has The Answer
If we are honest with ourselves and others, there are many things that we do not understand or fully comprehend. We get stumped, and we need answers. What should we do, Google it? Well, that helps for fixing your car and some minor things. For the huge questions and secrets of life, we need the Lord to show us the whole picture.(Daniel 2:28)
God is the One who reveals secrets for anyone who comes to Him with a humble heart of faith. Of course, this is for His children, coming to their Loving Father for direction and guidance. It is for those who sincerely know that they do not know everything, so they are teachable. He is there to explain things, or even give us glimpses into the future of our lives and the world.
Can you just stop and imagine the advantage this gives to God's children. We have special insights that only come through the Lord and having a close personal relationship with Him. We must not be proud because of this, but all the more humble and grateful like Daniel was when the Lord showed Him His plans for the entire history of the world until Christ returns and sets up His throne in Jerusalem.
So if you find yourself stumped, don't be frustrated and anxious. Prepare your heart to seek the Lord, and wait patiently for the God in heaven who reveals secrets. If it is something you need to know, He will make it known to you. If it is not necessary, just go on trusting in His loving care over us, and the knowledge He gives us in His Word and at other times when we ask.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Daniel 3-5.
