Overwhelmed by His Glory
Ezekiel fell on his face when the glory of the Lord filled the Temple.(Ezekiel 44:4) When was the last time you fell on your face before The Holy God? As we read the Bible we understand that people always fall down in conviction of sin and humble submission when they come into the presence of God. Sometimes, we think we would dance around, shout and sing, but that is not the case.
I pray for each of us to have such an experience today as we worship the Lord. Let's go beyond praise and worship. Let's cleanse our hearts and so cry out to God that He comes in power to display His glory, so that we fall on our faces before Him. What an awesome time of worship that will be. Remember, if we leave the place of worship unchanged, we have not worshiped God. His Presence is so powerful that we are always changed when we truly experience God.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Ezekiel 45-47.
