Undeniable Proof
Some people say they want undeniable proof that God is real before they will believe in Him, but do they want that proof, or is that just an excuse for not trusting the Lord? I believe it is an excuse. I believe God does give each person undeniable proof that He is alive and well, just like He revealed Himself to the people in Elijah's day.(I Kings 18:38,39) Even when God's fire fell, Ahab and Jezebel did not turn to Him. The same is true today.
If you want undeniable proof of God's existence, open your heart and your spiritual eyes. Look around. Ask Him to show Himself to you, and He will do just that. He may show Himself in the wind, the earthquake, or the fire. However, many times He comes with a still, small voice that is loud and clear. He shows Himself through His creation, too. There is no way this world could exist without a Designer. He shows Himself through the Bible. Just read it. Don't question what you have not read. There are undeniable proofs all around us, but we must be open, and we must not be looking for excuses not to believe. That is where the faith comes in. Faith is not blind faith. He shows Himself clearly. Then, the faith is your willingness to trust Him as Lord of your life, to say as the people said in Elijah's day, "The Lord, He is God!"
