Visiting Our Christian Friends

We spent all day today on the road, or at least, it seems that way. We went to the market in the colonial zone for the gifts we needed to buy. It takes a long time to get there, because the traffic is horrible. Then, we went to Pastor Ernesto´s house, and we had a very nice dinner. It was good to get to sit and visit with him and Sabina. After that, we went to Herminia´s house. She is having to care for her elderly father, so she could not come to church services on Sunday. She and her family are doing well, but she is really missing her church fellowship. She covets our prayers for her father. Finally, we went to Olga´s house for a hot dog supper. I had to sing for my supper, as usual, but this time we made Olga sing solo, too. She needs our prayers, too, as she is having a test on her brain tomorrow. Her eyesight is so bad now, she can´t use a computer, because the light hurts her eyes. We headed back to Bonao at 6 PM, since we had to drop off Doug and the boys. Dana went to Mexico for an IMB Ladies´retreat. We arrived at the hotel at 8 PM. Now, we must pack and sleep for tomorrow.

It is so good to see all of our friends. Christian friends are one of the greatest gifts in the world. I pray that you have many of them all around the world.
