Preaching in the Schools

We have had a wonderful experience doing something in the public schools here in Bonao that we are not able to do in the USA. Phil is preaching to the students during school hours. Yesterday, we had about 200 middle school students in one large classroom. It was very crowded, but the Lord blessed His Word and 56 students stood up in front of their peers ans went to another room because they wanted to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior. Then, this morning we went to an elementary school. We had about the same size audience, but they were outside in a shady place. Phil spoke about the story of the 3 Hebrew young men and the fiery furnace. Then, he gave an invitation, and about 55 students came forward to accept Christ. Praise the Lord! We have 2 more schools today and one tomorrow, with an evangelistic service at the church tomorrow evening. Please, pray for Phil. He is very sick with allergies or a bad cold, but God is giving him strength to speak, and He is using his words to touch hearts.
