Reaching Goals
It is very satisfying to reach goals. There is a feeling of accomplishment. It brings a satisfaction of doing something that was deemed important. However, once a goal is reached, there is another dilemma. What do you do next? What is the next goal? It is never enough to bask in one gaol. There needs to be forward movement or progress continually.
That is how I feel about our new worship center. It will be great to have it done, and to begin having our worship services there. However, that is not the ultimate goal. We need to build on this accomplishment, and go on to even better things for the Lord. Of course, the Biblical thing to do is to work hard to fill it up for God's glory. I am sure that God doesn't want us to just have a new building and to be comfortable with that. We must have an urgency about reaching people for Christ. That is the purpose of having a bigger and better building. Please, pray about reaching this additional goal. It is very important to the Lord Jesus for us to keep this new goal in mind.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Proverbs 3-5 and II Corinthians 1.
